Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
customer not paying
We are a small temp labor business. We have an account that owes 130k (two months of expense). They don't dispute the expense - they say they can't pay because of the auto industry breakdown. Assets are tied up with banks. Bankruptcy looks like it will happen. How can we collect our money? The banks will take all assets. They don't own the buildings or property. Their company is an LLC.
Thanks.

Your timing is a bit amazing. I wrote about this kind of situation this morning. http://haslerlaw.blogspot.com/2008/12/more-tribunes-lehmans-likely-in-coming.html
I suggest that you get yourself to a lawyer who knows something about collections and bankruptcy law.
