Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
My daughter works for a discount retail store that has stores nationwide. Recently, she and a coworker decided to become platonic roommates. When her store manager heard about this, my daughter and her friend were both told if the corporate office found out they were living together, they would be fired. Is this even legal?

the store manager may or may not be well intended but i am fairly certain firing or any other job action for that reason would not be legal. in our firm we have lawyers that do employment law (nicole keith, rich long, adam sedia). if something happens you or your daughter are welcome to a free call or initial meeting. good luck
