Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
Myself and another employee had pictures of our children stolen by our company's cleaning crew. A police report was filed, but the detective did not take action beyond asking the cleaning employees about the pictures. Could I file a civil suit against the cleaning company?

Not if you really can't prove it. Besides, a civil suit is only for monetary damages and the value of photographs is very small.
