Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
eviction notice
We are currently renting a convenience store which had $18,000 of inventory to a man who was supposed to pay $1500 a month rent and $18000 over time for the inventory. He has payed nothing on the inventory and since his beginning March is always late. Now he is two months late with the third month due. Can we lock the doors and evict him to protect our inventory investment?

Re: eviction notice
This sounds a contract to purchase a business than a rental situation. Changing the locks will not work on a rental situation and will work even less well on a business sale situation. You do need to get a lawyer. Your remedies depend on your contract.
