Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
I placed a friend on my business account she isn't on my license or tax ID things went sour now she says shes entitled to half of my product cause she was on my bank account
ive ran this business for over 3 years rented a spot from this woman put her on my bank account to make it easy to pay her the bills i was kicked out of her place cause she had other ideas for the spot i was renting now she says everything i have in my business is half hers
i have several vendor mall booths, that she has helped me stock all of them once maybe all the booths are month to month leases that all have my name or my business name on them
she took my account statement to one of the booths claimed she was my business partner and took everything and has been attempting to collect my checks from these places i personally i think this is theft just because shes on my business account don't entitle her to half or in the case of what she is doing all of my stuff correct?
as far as im concerned she isn't entitled to anything simply cause she was on my bank account am i incorrect legally or should i call the cops, hire an attorney, sue the store for letting her take my stuff, sue her for all the turmoil she has caused?

You have a lot of issues here which need to be resolved. What your former partner has done is probably not correct. In order to resolve all of these problems, you would best be served by sitting down with an attorney in order to have all of your rights and options explained to you.
