Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
I am a general contractor and I am financially broke. I have several clients that I have taken deposits from and I don't have any way to do the work or pay them back. I am licensed and bonded in the State of Indiana. Most of my situation is because of work that we installed and we took a loss on as well as clients not paying me. I have not misused any of the money and all my accounting is in order. I am considering bankruptcy because I am up against the wall with these debts. Also, is there any way that these clients can file criminal charges? Many Thanks

Probably no criminal charges. But you had best consult with a bankruptcy attorney immediately.
