goods delivered by A to X on hire-purchase so that X becomes owner after last installment. X failed to make last installment. X sold goods to C. Now, A wants to recover goods from C. Will he succed

If C had no knowledge that X was not the owner, C wins. If you can prove that C did know, you win.
