Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
My husband and his brother have an LLC business. Although all the zoning and permits are legal a neighbor is suing my husband personally (the business is not named or mentioned in the lawsuit). They have asked for his birthdate and SS#. Can they do that?

As a Franchise Attorney I must ask that you provide more information. What is the suit all about? What does the LLC have to do with anything? How have they "asked" for this information - informally or through the discovery process in the lawsuit? Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
