Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
My husband passed away and when I call our mortgage compay, I found out that his name is the only one on the loan. I have the orginal deed with both our names on it. Is there anything I have to do as far as the morgage company. I have been paying the mortgage and it is current.

Mortgage rates are at record lows. Look into refinancing in your own name. You may find that you will save some money. Otherwise, you can just keep paying as you have been. However, you may have some difficulties with property tax exemptions and income tax tax deductions
