What legal recourse do we have in a case involving threatening phone messages, emails, and letters demanding repayment of money? The money was given as a gift and this person now decides that they want the money repaid.

The answer depends on the nature of the threats. It may be possible that you can obtain a protective order. You may also be able to contact your local prosecutor. Often times, a letter from an attorney demanding that a pesron stop unacceptable conduct will get the job done. Good luck.
