Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana

Lossing out

My ex-boss is in the same business as my mother and that is Home Daycare. Recently we heard that my ex-boss has been telling people things about my mothers daycare that is not true at all. For one she has said that my mothers daycare was dirty just to name one of many that was said in the past year my mothers business has gone down hill with not to many clients. The daycare owners have to all go through the same place and talk to the same people and my ex-boss telling them all that. What can we do. Can my ex-boss have to pay for the slander that she has caused and the rep that my mother and I have no more of. Can she have to pay my mother for the money that was lost due to her false lies. How do you bring down a woman who can lie so much and people believe her she is so good at that she can talk the Devil right out of Hell.

Re: Lossing out

Slander requires a person who falsely says something about a business which causes money damages. So far, it sounds like you have something and you need to talk to an attorney.
