Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
Our manufacturing facility shut down the Monday before July 4 to save the company money. We had all hourly employees who wanted to be paid for the day fill out paperwork for A vacation day. Our CFO has now detected a vacation day from each of the salaried managers. Although some of us work either this Sunday or that Monday of the work week. Is it legal for them to arbitrarily take a vacation day?

Probably not. But it's probably not economically worth contesting. Indiana is a Republican state---workers have no rights.
