Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
How do I obtain the ability to take donations from multiple persons on the internet without being charged on any type of fraud if my intentions are truly to donate the money? What paperwork is required, etc.? I understand there is paperwork for becoming a Non-Profit Organization. I just wasn't sure what legal ramifications, if any, could come when trying to collect donations online.
Thank you!

As a Franchise Attorney I need to advise you of the following. You need more than "intentions to donate money." You must be set up as a non-profit organization first, before taking any donations. This is a complex area and not one that can be addressed on a bulletin board like this, which is designed to answer simple, legal questions. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
