Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
I operate an LLC business in Indiana with a partner that needs to leave the business. How do I go about removing her from the LLC business quickly ? This is not really an amicable split and I want to reduce any further stress and take the business back over. This was my original business and she was added when she brought a different product offering to the business which is no longer a viable. The original business was mine prior to adding her.

The exit plan is something you should have written up when you took on a partner. But you probably didn't do so. Now, you need to make an offer to her and buy out her interest. If she doesn't want to take you offer, you will have to retain an attorney and take her to court under the existing LLC statutory rules which govern dissolution of LLCs where the partners didn't think ahead to write up a plan.
