Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
How can a partner be removed from an LLC?
One partner (younger sister of other partner) has not worked in the business since early June, proferring excuses at first (I'm sick; my husband is sick; my dog threw up, etc.), but, for the past several months, not even bothering with excuses. The younger partner has not invested any of her own money in the business (her share was provided as a gift by her mother).

If the LLC was properly created, with appropriate bylaws and agreements, then all you have to do is follow the directions that the partners established for this situation. Otherwise, you most likely have to get an attorney and go to court for proper removal or dissolution of the LLC.
