partnership gone BAD!!!
My partner and I own a boutique and we were opening another one in another state. She moved away to open the other store and has drained the bank account for the new store we were supposed to open. My name is not on the lease for the new store nor the bank account for the new store. Also I just found out she was taking thousands of dollars from the ATM machine. Since I partnered with her we have about 150,00.00 in debt.
Is she responsible for the debt if she wants out and should she have to pay back the money she took for the new store she opened?

Re: partnership gone BAD!!!
Depends on if you are only a partnership or actually a corporation. If a true partnership, you are also responsible for all partnership debt. Get yourself to an attorney ASAP. There are detailed questions that need asked.
