Power of Attorney
Does a Power of Attorney to act on your behalf regarding financial and real estate transactions with a financial institution (bank) have to be recorded with the County Recorder
to be valid ?

If you are signing documents with respect to a mortgage loan then I would, as bank counsel, require that the POA be recorded-that puts anyone on notice who searches the real estate records that the mortgage is valid when signed by someone acting undera POA
