Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
Recently my company hosted an employee event and gave away door prizes. Someone indicated we should have gotten a license for the prizes. Do gaming laws apply to events where there is no fundraising?

Your question doesn't provide sufficient information to be able to give you a complete answer. No license is required for prizes if there was no gambling or gaming involved. Door prizes by themselves are not illegal. In fact, they're required at baby showers.
