Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
Registered Agents for LLC start-up
In setting up an LLC in Indiana, who can I use as the ''registered agent''? Does it have to be another business already registered in the state or can it be anyone? Can I or my spouse be the registered agent for our own company? We are residents of Indiana, and will not be doing any business outside of Indiana.

Anyone can be a registered agent. However, just filing the articles with the Secretary of State is not enough. you must have an operating agreement and you should have an attorney help you with these.
