Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
I'm a restaurant owner and leasing a part out on a building their equipment fail on a transformer and blow the power off for hours the light company is refusing to pay us for the food that we lost and had to purchase again they have repayed us before for the same thing that keeps happening and keep saying the problem is fixed theyre saying we are responsible for having a backup generator on the building is that a fact or mandatory for us to have that system put on the building.

The light company has no obligation to you. You don't have to put in a backup system, but it would be smart on you part if you did. Then you won't have any more problems.
