Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
Want Sales person to sell my product but not be my employee
I have a software product that I sell over the Internet. I want to have sales people sell my product ''door to door'' but I don't want to hire them. I want them to have their own sales business - sell my product, and we both profit when sale is made. No money changes had unless a sale is made. Is this a legal arrangement? If it is legal, are there any technicalities I should be aware of?

Re: Want Sales person to sell my product but not be my employee
Thank you for your inquiry. There is nothing illegal in the business concept that you described. Although your question about technicalities is simple, the answer is not, and this forum really isn't appropriate for this type of question. You should hire counsel to go over your plan in detail and to draft the appropriate paperwork that will accomplish what you are seeking to do. Good luck,
