When do you need a suretyship promise in writing? When is it going to be upheld in court when you only have an oral statement?

There are many situations involving a surety promise, so it's hard to guess what circumstances are applicable to you without more background. It's very difficult to prove an oral promise. You need to have an attorney properly draft documents for you to fit your particular needs.
