Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana
Ten years ago an program was developed through a state DNR for schools with state grants
They set up a Distributor that limited who could sell products through this program.
They turned us down at the time, two years ago we developed a product that is being used more and more in this program.
Today I received this from the CEO/President of the Organization, that started the program
"We will make it clear to all coordinators that this #### isn't approved or recommended for use. If an accident occurs involving this #### we won't be able to stand behind that program. We are very appreciative and loyal to the equipment makers that helped us."
This creates a monopoly on who can sell to this program.
Is this legal?? We carry 5 Mil. worth of Liability Ins.
