Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Indiana
I attended a silent benefit auction where I purchased what was advertised as a free one week vacation to a place of my choice. Upon receiving the information it was from an individual offering to let me use his timeshare points. I spoke with him over the phone and selected to go to Hawaii-giving him the 3 months advance notice that he requested. Now, I have still had no confirmation and it has been a month and he will not return my phone calls. What are my rights, legally, to take that trip and what should be my next step?

At this point, it is premature to assume that he will not honor his obligation. Perhaps you should contact the event sponsors. They may be able to contact him or provide you with an alternative.
