Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Indiana

civil rights of a minor

My son is 15. I am divorced and have physical custody. 10 yrs. ago my son was physically and possibly sexual abused by mom's boyfriend. She refused to leave his home. I couldn't get anyone to investigate at the time. Now our son is having deep mental issues. His counselor asked about previous abuse and his mom said there was none. I told the counselor about the suspected abuser and now mom is spitting mad at me. Can I file civil suits against the DFC, the police, the lawyers and counselors that were involved years ago for failure to report because no one would help me then and now my child has been diagnosed with a personality disorder? Is my ex-wife emotionally abusing our son by not disclosing facts that she has admitted to in depositions? I still have joint legal custody but my son is staying with his grandma because of behavior problems.

Re: civil rights of a minor

The DFC are immune from suit. As for everyone else, I think that the statute of limitations ran a long time ago.
