Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Indiana
Driving without license under the infulence
If I make my initial court appearance to the charges and plead guilty why and how can the judge tell me to get a job to pay for an attorney because I need one? I realized I did do wrong and was willing to plead guilty, I don't get it.

Court's will normally not accept an uninformed guilty plea to charges as serious as you report. You may think you are doing the best thing for yourself, but until you have the advice of competent legal counsel you in fact don't know. This isn't TV. A lawyer may well be able to soften the impact of the criminal justice system on you, and you need to know your options - not what you think, but what is. Court's will not accept uninformed guilty pleas. Take the advice. Get competent representation. When you understand your options, then you can decide what is in your best interests to do.
