Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Indiana
I lived with another female in an apartment on a lease. She puposly got a restraing order on me and had the police kick me out. The police had her put my belongings in the hall I was never allowed back in the apartment. Now she is trying to sue me for rent money. The landlord refuses to take me off the lease. She also has had people living there and paying half the bills and the landlord knows this. Can she do that??
