can the police call my employment and report a traffic ticket i received?
i was pulled over in a company vehicle and given a ticket. the next day the sheriff's department called my employer and reported it to them along with how many points were on my license. is this a violation of my civil rights?

It is highly unusual for the police to volunteer point information. However, the informatio is available to the public, it does not violate any of the civil rights statutes I can think of, and so do not think you have a violation of your civil rights.
