Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Indiana
I recently got a check in the mail worth a lot of money so I went to the bank they cashed it. There was a letter that came also and it said I was entitled to a lot more from a sweepstakes I had won. One week later the bank called and said it came back. I didn't know it was fake. What can I do? I don't feel like im my fault. It obviously looked real to the bank and aren't they supposed to catch things like this? I just feel it's their problem. The bank told me that there wasn't anything I could do find the people who sent me the check. What should I do?

Under the law, you are responsible, not the bank. The bank is correct.
