Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Indiana
My ex roomate wont release my possesions
I left my roomate in Indiana to come back home with my son and family to help with my parents finding work as it was very slow in indiana i recently got on my feet and attempted to go out and retrieve the possesions i had left out there and was not allowed to gain them back i have been gone a almost a year and believed there was a mutual understanding as once i got on my feet again i would be back for my stuff and she could use it in the mean time now she says i adbandoned it and that is not the case i have personal affects as well as family heirlooms out there what are my steps of action or recourse to make sure i get my stuff back to me.

You would have to prove that you left messages or other written proof that you would be coming back. A year is a long time not to come back.
