Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Indiana

can i sue for harassment

I got into an argument in a parking lot of a grocery store that i formally worked at with an employe, nothing happend just words were exchanged. My bank is in that store and they told my friend that if i went in there that they would call the cops and have me removed. Because its a public place and my bank is there, can i go into there to use that bank, and if they tell me to leave can i file for harassment or something simalir.

Re: can i sue for harassment

There is no harassment suit here. You do, however, have the right to attend your bank without fear of retribution from anyone, if you are peacefully going about your business.

Just don't have any contact, and you shouldn't have any problems.
