Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Indiana
can you sue a judge for mental anguish for my self and my son,he degrades me almost every time we go to go he seems bias to me due to me being on ssi,i suffer from really bad mental health problems as my 10 yr old son does,in 2009 the judge ordered for a 2 or so visit at my sons grandma till he got adjusted to his father he never took him one time..then today he ordered that my son go every other wk end or basically i go to jail for 90 days and he said he would give the 2 kids to their father hes a drug felon in and out of prision and in their lives when he wants to be..the judge wouldnt even let me have the continious i sked for to get a pro bono lawyer he said no..he let my sons dad say out loud i cut my arms didnt correct him nor say a word to him for degrading my personnel mental problems.. i am currently pg and due to the stress that was brought on in the court room i am still having panic attacks, and thoughts of cutting my arms and crying all day since court i was treated unfairly,he wouldnt even look at my logged parenting vists since aug 6th i have logged them hes only had 1 with our daughter hadnt seen them in 9 plus months i need help,advise..i am lost,my son doest want to go with his father due to his mental illness and i dont want to go to jail,this man is almost 7000 behind in support and i dont have a current num they said i didnt need it what grounds do i stand i can provide all court orders and mental illness on my son and me hes only 10 its not fair to him and the comment the judge just let slide by about me was terrible and wrong i have rights as a disabled person with mental health issues wha do i do i dont want to go to jail but at the same time i will protect my son and his needs,he also has a clotting disorder his father knows nothing about and i dont want to step foot in that judges court room he is rude inconsiderate and takes sides and belittles lose on ssi

Gernerally speaking, you cannot sue a judge for actions taken within his courtroom that are part of a judicial proceeding. However, you may want to visit the Indiana Judiciary site and review the rules of judicial conduct to see if you have grounds for a complaint.
