Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Indiana
Violation of my civil rights?
I am almost 17 years old, i am currently on juvenile probation and i have been since i was fourteen years old for a one time offense of minor consumption. I have since never failed a drug screen and have completed all terms of my probation. At my june probation meeting my probation officer found out that i am about four months pregnant. Now i've recieved a letter that i violated my probation by becoming pregnant. Is this legal?

Re: Violation of my civil rights?
You have life and liberty interests under the Constitution at stake here. Have you spoken with any right to life orgnaizations, like Indiana Right to Life? They may have a fund to help pay legal expenses. If so, I would be glad to represent your interests in trying to reverse this mark on your record and any other problems it has caused for you.
