Wrongfully fired
Can I file suit against my ex girlfriend for filing for a protective order (that was denied) which resulted in termination of my employment?

Re: Wrongfully fired
The short answer is no: denial of a protective order is not grounds for a civil rights violation. She has the right to go into court to ask for relief, the fact that it was denied is not, by itself, violative of your civil rights. However, if there is a pattern of harassment, you might have a case. Consult local counsel, --you should be able to get a free 15 minutes, so come prepared with a list of the things she has done to either harass you or invade your privacy that can be verified.

It is hard to tell from the facts given. This forum is not really that good for handing detailed issues such as your question and you really do need to speak with an attorney.
