Legal Question in Technology Law in Indiana

I was asked to work on a coworkers computer to get a program to open .rar files. I downloaded winRAR which can open these types of files. I then searched for any RAR file to open. I found several THOUSAND Child Porn images and movies. I'm worried about what may happen to me and my family, I have kids. I've already returned the computer but now what do I do?

It's not your computer and not your kiddy porn. However, giving back the computer (with kid porn files) to a customer may implicate you in the crime. Please see an Indiana attorney for evaluation under Indiana criminal law. I don't know, but can guess, that your cooperation in implicating the pervert may absolve you from liability. Again, please get an attorney in Indiana.
