Legal Question in Technology Law in Indiana

Hey I need some serious legal advice. Recently someone made the absurd accusation against me that I attempted to buy a gun on the Dark Web my teacher seemed to believe it. This is simply not true and there is absolutely no proof to suggest that it is the implication alone that this is true makes me livid. As I am only a High School student how were I be able to get the money required to buy a gun? It would at least be $1000 thinking that a High Schooler would be able to obtain that amount of money is preposterous. But at this point I do not want to do, my parents are on my side they are willing to spend big bucks on a lawyer if necessary. The cops may search my computer for proof but I feel as that is an invasion of my privacy. Please Help!

Who cares what your teacher believes? If someone says something that they have no good faith basis to believe is true and that injures you in some way like you get in trouble with your school then that is actionable defamation.

If anyone contacts you about this do not say anything until you speak to your own lawyer.
