Chargeback on your credit card, report them to the state attorney general, sue them where they are in small claims (if permitted) or civil court for fraud, report them to their local D.A., just google the topic and you'll find other agencies where you can report them...like the US Dept. of Commerce. We have a new attorney in WA, if you want him to represent you and consult on what your options are.

Software is generally not returnable.

Commercial software can be exchanged if the medium is corrupted or something else goes wrong unrelated to the purpose of the software.

If, on the other hand, it was custom software or you paid for Office and got Quicken, you might have a chance.

Simple dissatisfaction is not a reason for a fraud charge,--or to get a refund. There's a LOT of crap software out there: still, the smaller the developer company, the more you might actually turn it to your advantage and help the company do a better job in the future.
