Legal Question in Consumer Law in Indiana
getting auto plates and registration
After financing a car in Oct/2006, have been unable to get paperwork from dealer for plates and registration. The title is missing and the finance company does not have paperwork. The dealer kept putting me off and now they are closed. All car on their lot are gone. There is no way to contact them. Am now paying car notes and insurance on a vehicle I cannot drive

I am not sure if you cannot get a lost title, but you need to talk to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
I am not sure what you mean the dealership is closed. It may also mean a call to the Attorney General's Consumer Affairs Division.
Those are the speediest things I can think of for you.
