Legal Question in Consumer Law in Indiana
used car dealer
Can used car dealer still hold you obligated to pay for or to continue you to pay for a car, when they did not do the paper work for you to get your title & plates on time before the temporary plates expired ? The temporary plates expired after 30 days and we could not get permernet plate ,because the car dealer did not do the paper work right. We took the car back to the dealer and told them we don't want the car (cause we have been waiting long enough) So now they want us to come in fill out some paper work so that they can resend off for the title & plates again, but we don't want to.Do we have any rights?

Re: used car dealer
If you returned the car but have not signed any financing documents, why should you got back and sign them? You have rights, you just need to exercise them. Not that it might get messy and if it does you will need an attorney on hand.
