Legal Question in Consumer Law in Indiana
I am a dog breeder and have been one for over 4 years. A lady bought one of my puppies and has had trouble with it as it has developed a health condition. I do not offer a health guarantee and she knew that when she purchased the dog. I have offered to give her half of her money back for the dog, but she wants me to give her all of her money back. I am registered with AKC and it says clearly on my profile that I do not offer a health guarantee. Am I legally responsible in any way to give her a full refund? I have never had any complaints from any of the other buyers of my dogs and my dam and sire are in excellent health and have never had any problems whatsoever.
Thanks!
Debbie
