Legal Question in Consumer Law in Indiana
Finance company not releasing title to vehicle
We were behind in payments on a van in 2001, the finance company agreed to accept payment on the loan in full and waive any late fees that had accrued. The finance company agreed to these terms and we paid the van off.
We have been calling them about the title and they will not release it. What can we do?

You don't say why they won't release it. What are their reasons? Did you get this agreement in writing?
