Legal Question in Consumer Law in Indiana
small claims payment
I was being sued for a little over 500 and I paid it before it went to small claims but the attorney is still trying to sue me for the 85 for court fees even though it never went to court. Do I have to pay the court fee?

Re: small claims payment
If it was filed in court, then you owe the court costs. Does not matter whether you had a hearing or not, but that it was filed with a court.
