Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

i was bailed out of jail for writing bad checks. this is my first and only time i have ever been in trouble. my question is i forgot my court date and missed court now i am a.w.o.l and dont know what to do, i dont want to spend anymore time in jail what do i do?

Hire counsel who will file the appropriate paperwork to have the warrant recalled.
