Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

Car loan

When my wife and Bought a new car 6 yrs ago my mother in law co-signed. Everything was fine till i was laid off. We ended up filing Bankruptcy even on the car but continued making payments on it. We have argued with teh recovery dept and tehy always want and we hv given what tehy want but on sev occasions the check bounced and we would pay a lesser amount. Al teh letters from tehm are addressed to my mother in law and she received a letter that said if arrangements werent maid by a date tehy would take legal action. We couldnt make an arrangement till after that date they gave. They took teh money we said we could pay but a week later returned it. My mother in law is in her 60's and works for a brokerage. If they went after her for wage garnishment she would lose her job. She doesnt make alot of money. Is there anything else we can do.

Re: Car loan

Other than selling the car and paying off the loan, I am not sure there is much you can do.
