Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

colection of a debt

My x wife and i bought a van for her about 10 years ago. we split, she kept everything, i just left. divorced and remarried 2 years ago. She lost the van for non-payment. i have no idea what happened but some law firm is suing me for the $2,000 or so that was owed on the van. Shes remarried but they cant find her. Can they collect from me.

Yes, they can, if your name was on the van loan. If you find her, you can sue her for what is owed.
