Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

Regarding collections lawsuit, can I send a copy of my answer to the plaintiff's attorney via simple registered mail, or does it have to include return/receipt? The lawsuit and myself are in Indiana. The plaintiff is in another state

You must file your answer with the court. Preferably by certified mail. Copy to the other attorney by regular mail.
