Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana
Contacts
I was working for a company when a employment agency contacted me and ask if I would be interested in working for one of our competitors. I ask about fees and was told that everything was paid by the company. After meeting with the other company and accepting their offer, I worked for the new job for a month. I told them I would be leaving because the job and the hours were not what I was told they would be. I am now being sued by the employment agency because I signed something saying I would stay for 90 days. I did sign the paper, but I didn't see the 90 days part, am I liable for the employment company fees, even though they contacted me and the job was misrepresented?

Re: Contacts
Without actually seeing the contract, it is possible. You need to see a lawyer.
