Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana
dating service scam
I was talked into signing a contract with Great Expectations, which is a dating service. When I realized what had happened I wrote and cancelled the contract less than 12 hours after signing. Now they insist I pay the bill and have even doctored documents since they insisted on having my copies back in order to process the cancellation. Do I have any options other than to pay it? They are constantly harrassing me even though I told them it was cancelled within 12 hours of signing and that I was never told that you can't cancel.

Re: dating service scam
The contract should have had a method for terminating the contract. One cannot ordinarily just cancel a contract.
