Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

finances

I dropped out of cosmo school in 1995. Filed Bankrupcy in 2000. Paid off student loans in 2002 or 2003 not sure. Was contacted in 2006 by attorneys claiming I still owed school $1295.50 for dropping out. I signed several contracts in 1994 when I enrolled, I don't remember them having a drop out clause. Can I still be held resposible after 13 years. Since there was not any contact prior to 2005 I did not file bankrupcy on this company. The same attorney office is the same people who own the cosmotolgy school.

Re: finances

There is no statute of limitations on student loans. However, you need to write them and ask for written verification of the debt.
