Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

Can I be held legally responsible for a credit card debt that I was an authorized user on and the account holder filed Bankruptcy? I am being sued for this debt and they are now saying I was a joint account holder and have provided no proof. What should I do?

Your first step should be to check all of the paperwork that you signed when you became involved with this account.
